In Atlanta’s Westside, the education achievement gap is alarming. The 30314 zipcode has the highest school dropout rate in the city, and three out of four schools in the area are classified as chronically failing. Many students are academically three to four levels below their grade.
The children in this neighborhood deserve better.
That’s why we’re dedicated to providing robust educational opportunities, such as preschool, after-school programs, and summer camp. This fall, over 106 students from the neighborhood will be enrolled in City School Atlanta (formerly Bright Futures Academy), a premier, Christ-centered 3rd-12th grade school right here on our campus.
But we need your help!
Many of our students lack basic school supplies and resources. By providing them with books, notebooks, new uniforms, and other essential school supplies, we can help them feel a sense of dignity, capability, and excitement for learning. This isn’t just an investment in education; it’s an investment in the children of this neighborhood. With your support, we can empower them to become the future leaders of this community. We believe that’s an investment worth making.
